Elaine Treviño is the President and CEO of California Strategic Solutions and based in Sacramento, California. Elaine has been working in project management for over 15 years and brings extensive professional experience. As a former vice-president of a Fortune 100 financial institution and a former president of an economic development corporation, Elaine understands the importance of governmental relationships in any public or private project.

Elaine’s experience working for the Governor Davis and Schwarzenegger’s administrations has provided her great bipartisan political relationships and contacts. During her tenure, she managed a $307 million dollar agency budget, over 100 employees and 78 statewide fairs and fair boards. This experience has provided her with extensive management strategies, fiscal accountability and project oversight skills.

Elaine has also worked in the development sector most recently providing her unique insight and experience in the entitlement and rezone process with local government. Elaine has also managed several low income housing developments, requiring her to meet with the impacted community members and ensuring that the project is built within the indicated time frame. Equally significant, Elaine has worked on several conservation and wildlife habitat preservation projects working to help manage working ecosystems for the most durable conservation results. Elaine is consistently committed to working towards enhancing natural resources and helping to maintain balance in the ecosystem.

Elaine’s diverse background of skills and extensive relationships makes her extremely effective in assuring that customer expectations are met and that quality results are achieved. Born and raised in the Central Valley of California, Elaine has a long history of community service in the region and has a great respect for agriculture and the value of the industry to California’s economy. Elaine earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and attended graduate school at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
